All Airboard PRO products are INSPECTED & VERIFIED by a UK 17025 (UKAS) Accredited Laboratory (SGS) in conjunction with our Factory and our in-house Service Repair Team. Our technical file was compiled and checked by a 3rd party consultancy U.K. firm in meeting all new applicable safety directives and we are continually updating our safety file for any new safety directives each year.

IMPORTANT!
When you purchase your hoverboard from Airboard PRO, you will be sent with your order confirmation our “EC Declaration of Conformity” this is important, many retailers in our experience fail to provide this – An EU declaration of conformity (DoC) is a mandatory document that any manufacturer or your authorised representative need to provide and sign to declare that the products being sold comply with all current EU requirements.

Battery and charger

Your charger should have all the relevant logos on in the correct dimensions and should always have the manufacturer or supplier details stated on it, as you can see all of these above claim to be CE approved, readily available on amazon, eBay, sellers just do not know what is inside the unit – we can tell you from UK accredited testing results these are not approved. Again if you have one of these charging units PLEASE STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY.

Many companies do not have the safety documentation, it should be to BSI Kitemark™ standards, again if they don’t have the certificate to show you DO NOT BUY! Their swegway hasn’t been checked. We tested at a UK accredited test house 8 different charging units, some from our competitors boards and they all failed. The figure of 8 cable in some cases had not enough copper strands in the wire, we came across fake fuses, incorrectly labelled plugs with some plugs not even moulded – please do check they have all are tested to BS1363 standard.
